The aim of this workshop is to increase your confidence in identifying bound bases and knowing the difference between a bound base and a root.

We’ll start with some bases that can easily be determined and have some guided practice using Etymonline, as it will become a useful addition to your toolkit.

Along the way we’ll talk about the differences between etymologically and morphologically related words.
